NEEDTOBREATHE is happy to announce the release of their second full-length album with Atlantic Records! The album is called The Heat and is slated for release on August 28th, 2007. The band embraced much more responsibility in crafting the sound of this record, co-producing the entire record along with Rick Beato (Shinedown, Jump Little Children, Charlie Mars) and Ed Roland, lead singer of Collective Soul. Haste the Day is a Christian metalcore band from Indianapolis. On this album, their first with new vocalist Stephen Keech, they play more with melody and occasionally move close to the realm of screamo. But the metal is not completely gone though. In 2002, a small band from Toledo, Ohio called Sanctus Real exploded onto the scene, and rapidly became as staple in Christian rock music. Five years later, another band hailing from Toledo has emerged, and appears poised for similar success with their release Even Heroes Need a Parachute.
